Some are baffled at how a book full of slavery and segregation can be banned when it is simply a reflection of a disturbing past and a learning opportunity for people of many generations to come. Can I use my memory to gain knowledge about something? In TOK, I used to think that we cannot gain knowledge through memory, as it depended on WOKs as a source of knowledge.
